Got a sun-dried tomato pesto from the farm shop today to have with some pasta. Was very tasty. Finished it with some kale and Wensleydale cheese for a bit of a change.

That could make a very nice open sandwich, sour dough toast, sun dried tomato and the crumbled Wensleydale.

The wife was called for federal jury duty and we’re three hours away from home, in Seattle. Hotel immediately across the street from the courthouse. It’s a historic hotel, built in 1926, but it’s WEIRD. Seen better days maybe. Luckily we’re surrounded by fun new restaurants. The Italian joint was the only one open on Sunday.
