Now that was a feisty shave! Not intimidating but, I had to pay more attention and stay in tuned with the shave using the Enoch and Feather Pro Super combination. A wonderful 2 pass and slight touch up shave. Smooth, smooth finish that was nic and cut free. Just the tiniest bit of irritation on the chin and Sir Adam’s area from the touch ups. Gone though after the splash and a few minutes. Fabulous shave, period. Blade feel is certainly amped up in the Enoch with the Super but, still a comfortable shave as long as presence of mind is used knowing that the Super is a more aggressive blade with a bit more blade exposure. The Enoch works with any blade you throw at it and does it extremely well with each one. If you don’t have a Classic Cobra or King and want to experience what it would be like to shave with either one of those razors, the Enoch gets you pretty darn close to that experience. I have no reserves in recommending this razor to any wet shaving enthusiasts that desires to step into the Artist Club SE razor format. This has happened to someone on DFS. I believe Classic Shaving sent them another base plateMine just arrived, after paying the exorbitant customs fees, and the guard is bentI'm trying to contact Classic Shaving and we'll see how they handle this.

When I had no 3 dot plate and 2 x 2 dot plates on my Occams they took my word for it and sent a 3 dot plate no problem , they were very good about it .

Now on my 4th shave with the Enoch. So far results have been patchy, takes more time than usual for me to get a good close finish. My main problem is that when Loading a Schick Blade it does not stay on the blade retention lugs easily, IMHO they are not deep enough. This of course means that when rinsing the Razor by slacking off the handle the blade becomes detached easily.
Though I like the looks of this Razor, I am getting consistent and better Shaves with the odd looking Occams Oren Razor on a plate 3 with a Feather Proguard blade.

Well 3 emails later (4 including one just now asking if they are ever going to reply) and nothing back from Classic shaving. I'll give it until tomorrow before filing a case with PayPal. Really poor customer service
