How do you like those mild steel pans? I see them in all the commercial kitchens but never tried one.
Winco CSFP-12 11-1/8 Inch Fry Pan Polished Carbon Steel Riveted Handle for sale - Lowest Prices | RestaurantSupply.com

This is my only carbon steel pan. The brand is Winco, a trade brand for restaurant use and come unseasoned. This one is 11". The handle is nice and long to keep it more cool to the touch.

Before buying, I read the reason restaurants like them is because they heat up quickly. Lodge, the cast iron manufacturer, also has carbon steel pans available pre seasoned.

I have several Winco products including tongs, chef knives, paring knives, and cutting boards. The boards to not dull the knife edge.

Thanks.

I’ve had several small Lodge and DeBuyer in my cart for a few months but have been hesitant to pull the trigger. Still am. Sure looks like you’ve got that bacon dialed though!

Oh nice. It’s fun to have good cutting boards. I just swapped all ours out a few weeks ago.
