And very nice it was too.
Its always hard to choose one of the special razors i have, i am really glad the MM got an outing today, sublime, close and comfortable.
Finishing off with the Barts Balm Lime lotion and balm then a good splash of Vintage 4711, it seems this 4711 has a bit more Alcohol in it than the present version.
All good.
Stay safe and enjoy your day all.
Happy Birthday, Tony. :birthday::cheers:

Regards,
Chris

Prep: Shower, Palmolive Olive Oil Soap
Soap: Extro Cosmesi Barocco
Brush: 24mm Yaqi Chianti Tuxedo
Razor: Lord L6 head on Edward X Jacob barberpole handle
Blade: Gillette Super Blue(2)
Post: TDS Rose ASL, Baxter's Balm

First time with the Lord for a while, and it felt a fair bit more aggressive than the Merkur. Decent finish, but the Super Blue didn't feel suited to the razor. Or maybe it's just me. I'll run a milder blade through before making a final judgement.
Nice those Lords only downside is the light original handle, good idea to change the handle.

Pre: Eco Warrior -Sensitive Facial Bar
Razor: Karve SS SB - C
Blade: NOS (V4) Gillette Bleue Extra (1)
Soap: Chiseled Face - Midnight Stag (Silk Tallow base)
Brush: Muhle STF v2 - XL
Post: Figaro Bluice

A really nice shave today. I've come to a conclusion that Chinese Gillette blades aren't so good in the Karve. After struggling with a Super Blue this week, the Bleue Extra is a revelation. The soap performed well and I will comment further in the pre-existing thread. As for the scent, pine tar with various automotive / workshop ingredients is fair description. I quite like it, but YMMV.
