Problems adding images

When I’m posting, the forum won’t let me add images, or smilies, anymore.

Has something changed?

Click on attach files

This takes me to my photo library and all good


Steve, above your new text box do you have a tool bar that begins with an eraser and B and ends with a cog at the far right, is this greyed out, if so, click on the cog and you may see a change.

I deleted my entire history and that cured it for me.

Hi Bob, try this
Go to the 3 dots top right

Press, this should bring up your history tab, press this

This should get you browsing history, press clear browsing data, any thing that has snuck in lately will be cleaned up.

Thank you so much for trying to help. I finally quit Microsoft edge and went to my Chrome browser which uploaded the photo as per normal.

I have a problem adding downloaded photos only from my phone, tried it in Brave, Firefox and Mi Browser. I download a photo, come to the forum, try to upload, and get a message, quote (since i can't upload a screenshot either) :
"oops, the uploaded file was not an image as expected", and i get that for anything i download and try to upload.
However, there are absolutely no issues uploading photos taken with the phone camera.
